Rather than being a responsible critic of Tumblr culture like the first of her kind (William Shetterly etc), Shoe has a history of dog-whistling far-right politics, being unusually chummy with totally-not-racists and transphobic grifters, videos with literal white supremacists, and so on. While seemingly identifying with anti-feminist YouTube at-large, and espousing mainly anti-feminist views, she also shies away from the label 'anti-feminist', and has preferred the label, " egalitarian" instead, and self-describes as a social democrat. Lapine's main YouTube channel has over 1.61 million subscribers and 128 million views.
As of 2022, Lapine's YouTube videos are mostly socially liberal but her Twitter feed contains a large amount of social conservative and alt-right dog whistling. June Nicole Lapine (1991–), better known as Shoe0nHead, is a grifter of alt-right politics who rose to prominence for videos making fun of online culture which most resembles right-wing strawmen (in particular Tumblr culture).
